When I took over as marketing manager at Atlantic Acting School, I noticed a pattern in the social media accounts – when we promoted our celebrity alumni we didn’t see as much traffic as when we highlighted current or recent student activity. I decided to pivot the #WednesdayWisdom campaign (which pulled quotes from celebrity alumni), and I asked current students to provide content instead. Our Wednesday traffic quickly increased by 152%.
